Role Description

This is a full-time on-site position for a Junior Project Engineer based in Muar, Johor. The Junior Project Engineer will support project execution by assisting in planning, coordinating, and monitoring civil and structural works to ensure projects are completed within scope, timeline, and quality requirements. Key responsibilities include assisting in project scheduling, preparing technical documentation, coordinating with contractors and stakeholders, reviewing drawings and specifications, conducting site inspections, and ensuring compliance with safety and industry standards. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives effectively.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Civil Engineering and Structural Engineering fundamentals
• Strong understanding of construction methods, structural concepts, and project execution processes
• Experience or exposure to civil and structural works, site coordination, and project management
• Ability to create and interpret technical drawings, structural plans, and construction documents
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Familiarity with construction regulations, industry codes, and safety standards is a plus
• Relevant internship or hands-on experience is an added advantage
