Summary:

We are actively looking for an accountant who is energetic, motivated, self starter with critical thinking skills who is able to work both independently and with a team. This position will be responsible for general ledger activities including managing of assets and inventory.

Responsibilities / Accountabilities:

  • Responsible for financial monthly close and local financial reporting which includes, but not limited to, calculating and recording of journal entries, performing account analysis and completing balance sheet account reconciliations in accordance to US GAAP and local GAAP
  • Assist in direct, indirect and withholding tax returns and filing, calculation of quarterly tax and deferred tax provision
  • Managing fixed assets accounting and reporting
  • Assist in some costing relating accounting and treasury activities
  • Liaise with internal and external auditors, banks and other professional and regulatory bodies.
  • Participate in testing and update such findings to the management.
  • Ensure compliance with SOX and internal controls, financial guidelines, company policies, and relevant legal regulations.
  • Regularly track and resolve outstanding issues identified and escalate to relevant parties as necessary.
  • Proactively identify, propose and implement continuous process improvement opportunities in existing processes within the team.
  • Other duties and ad hoc projects as assigned. 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent with 5+ years of relevant experience
  • External audit experience with Big 4 accounting firm with good technical accounting knowledge, analytical skills and attention to details
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Excellent problem solving and time management skills
  • Experience with (SAP,S4 Hana,BPC,Hyperion) is highly preferred
  • Highly organized, detailed oriented and deadline focused
  • Excellent excel skills and proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
