Job Summary

Support the Project Manager by planning, coordinating, and documenting construction projects to ensure timely progress, budget adherence, safety compliance, and effective communication with all stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, scheduling, and coordinating construction project activities from inception to completion to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery
• Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, including schedules, budgets, progress reports, and correspondence for effective project tracking
• Track project progress and key performance indicators (KPIs) against timelines and budgets to support Project Manager decision-making
• Organize and attend project meetings, distributing action items to relevant parties to ensure clear communication and follow-up
• Ensure all contractors complete safety induction and comply with safe work procedures and risk control measures to maintain a safe site environment
• Coordinate daily activities of workers and subcontractors to optimize resource allocation and task completion
• Proactively identify and resolve site issues in a timely manner, escalating to Project Manager when necessary to minimize delays
• Collaborate closely with Project Manager and project consultants to ensure all drawings and correspondence are accurately documented throughout project phases

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or a related field
• 2-3 years of experience in construction project coordination or a similar role within the construction industry
• Strong team leading skills
