About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Controller to join our team at CONNEXWIRE MALAYSIA SDN. BHD. in Ipoh, Perak. As a Quality Controller, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in our manufacturing processes. This full-time position is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional to contribute to the success of our organisation.

What you'll be doing

• Conducting thorough inspections and testing of raw materials, work-in-progress and finished products to identify and address any quality issues

• Documenting and reporting on quality control processes, findings and recommendations

• Collaborating with production teams to implement corrective and preventive actions to improve quality

• Analysing quality data and trends to identify opportunities for process improvements

• Ensuring compliance with all relevant quality standards, regulations and internal policies

• Providing training and guidance to production staff on quality control best practices

• Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall manufacturing efficiency and product quality

• Specialize in FMEA (Failure mode of Effect Analysis)

What we're looking for

• Qualifications and experience: A degree or diploma in Quality Assurance, Manufacturing Engineering or a related field, with a minimum of 2 years' experience as a Quality Controller or in a similar role

• Skills and knowledge: Proficient in quality control procedures, technical drawing reading, data analysis, and the use of quality control tools and equipment; strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities; excellent communication and collaboration skills

• Personal attributes: Committed to upholding high standards of quality, safety and compliance; proactive and adaptable in a fast-paced environment; team player with a positive attitude

• Good eyesight, physically able to stand longer, can lift wiring harness. Comfortable to say NO for something that doesn't meet spec
