Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Full Stack Developer, based in Petaling Jaya. The Senior Full Stack Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining both front-end and back-end components of web applications, ensuring high performance and responsiveness. Day-to-day tasks include designing, coding, testing, and debugging software, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions, and optimizing systems for enhanced usability and efficiency. The role also involves addressing technical challenges and contributing to the development of innovative digital payment systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend systems using CakePHP, Laravel, and Golang.
• Build modern, interactive frontend applications using React / React.js.
• Create and consume RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services.
• Design and optimize relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL).
• Write efficient, reusable, and testable code following best practices.
• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and sprint planning.
• Debug, monitor, and enhance system performance and security.
• Collaborate across teams to deliver reliable and scalable solutions.

Required Qualifications

• Strong experience in CakePHP (major plugins, MVC structure, ORM, controllers/components).
• Solid hands-on knowledge of Laravel framework.
• Ability to write high-performance services in Golang.
• Expertise in React / React.js, ES6+, Webpack/Vite, HTML5, CSS3.
• Strong understanding of APIs, microservices, and authentication (JWT/OAuth).
• Proficiency in MySQL/PostgreSQL and caching (Redis).
• Good understanding of Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of Docker or containerization.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Jenkins CI/CD pipelines
• Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Unit testing (PHPUnit, Jest, Go test)
• GraphQL, WebSockets, or event-driven architecture
• Kubernetes or container orchestration
• Knowledge of caching, queues (SQS, RabbitMQ, Redis Queue)
