Kerja Sepenuh Masa, MECHANICAL ENGINEER di Focus Applied Technologies Perak - Maukerja

We are seeking an Mechanical engineer to help in the design and fabrication of various engine, dynamometer and mechanical power components. The engineer will be based in Parit Buntar, Malaysia and may be required to travel various destinations around South East Asia.

The work will mostly consist of looking up mechanical components, specifying components, creating 3-D and machinists drawings, as well as fabrication including drilling, welding, grinding, milling and lathe work.

The candidate must have the following capabilities:

• Ability to ride clutch motorcycles
• Ability to analyze data on computers (eg. Excell)
• Ability to read and write technical English
• Ability to communicate technical specifications and details effectively
• Ability to travel on his own to international destinations.
• Ability to operate basic shop equipment including power supplies, volt meters and digital oscilloscopes, hand tools, milling machines, lathes, MIG welders.
• Familiarity with computer – device communications such as USB, Serial and other communication protocols.Basic mechanical skills required for tuning and adjusting engines and vehicles.

Ideally the candidate also has the following capabilities:

• Understands the fundamentals of Internal Combustion Engines
• Understands power electronics
• Is familiar with operation of automotive sensors such as throttle position sensor and crank position sensor
• Has experience doing stress analysis in a 3-D drawing package
• Has experience tuning, adjusting and repairing motorcycles and cars.
