Full Time ELECTRICAL ENGINEER Jobs, in Focus Applied Technologies Perak - Maukerja

We are seeking an electrical engineer to help in the design and fabrication of various engine, dynamometer and mechanical power components. The engineer will be based in Parit Buntar, Malaysia and may be required to travel various destinations around South East Asia.

The work will mostly consist of looking up electrical components, specifying components, designing microcontroller and power electronic circuits, generation of Gerber files, as well as fabrication and testing of the circuitry.

The candidate must have the following capabilities:

• Ability to analyze data on computers (eg. Excell)
• Ability to read and write technical English
• Ability to communicate technical specifications and details effectively
• Ability to travel on his own to international destinations.
• Ability to operate basic shop equipment including power supplies, volt meters and digital oscilloscopes, hand tools, soldering iron.
• Understands power electronics, power FETs, IGBT’s, snubbers and etc.
• Ability to design and program microcontroller circuits for controls and communications
• Familiarity with computer – device communications such as USB, Serial and other communication protocols.
• Basic mechanical skills required for work on vehicles.

Ideally the candidate also has the following capabilities:

• Understands the fundamentals of Internal Combustion Engines
• Is familiar with operation of automotive sensors such as throttle position sensor and crank position sensor
• Has experience doing circuit analysis
• Has experience tuning, adjusting and repairing motorcycles and cars.
