Job Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC machines (mills and/or lathes) to produce precision plastic components.
Hands-on plastic machining involves working with a variety of materials, including Polypro, PVC,PET (Ertalyte), PPS (Techtron), Vespel, Torlon, Celazole, PPO (Noryll), Teflon, PFA, Delrin, Ultem, PEEK, G4,G10,G11 and etc.
Interpret technical drawing and perform machining process.
Select appropriate cutting tools, fixture and attachments for plastic materials.
Monitor machine operations and conduct quality inspections to ensure parts meet specifications.
Maintain production output efficiency, work place’s safety & 5S.
To comply with all company’s safety rules & regulation at all time.
And any other job as assigned by management from time to time.
Requirements
Minimum SPM
2-3 years of relevant working experience
Ability to work independently and problem-solve machining challenges.
Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with team members.
Job Responsibilities
• Set up and operate conventional machines & CNC Lathe with limited assistance or direct supervision
• Reading, interpreting and/or executing various machining works to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished part, sequence of operations, and setup requirements
• Calculate and set controls to regulate machining factors
• Suggest new tooling design & modification to existing tooling when required
• Starts and observes machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
• Check output to ensure consistency with specifications and discard defects
• Perform follow-up operations, such as deburring, polishing etc when required
• Perform such other duties as may be assigned.
Requirements
• At least 2 years of manual machining experience
• At least 2 years CNC Machining experience
• Follows all established safety procedures and practices.

Basic knowledge of CNC machine G & M Code
1. Setting up work piece in machine
2. 2D CNC Turning programming
3. Provide feedback on CNC program to CNC Turning Programmer or Production Manager
4. Able to handle tolerance within 10 Microns
5. Cutting Tool Selection and Cutting Parameter
6. Cutting different type of copper electrodes and do inserts for connector molds
7. Assist shop floor in trouble shooting quality/manufacturing/design problems
8. Manage and coordinate to eliminate the root causes for monitoring and controlling scrap and rework costs
9. Make improvements to set up times for a task
10. Simplifies tooling time for workers

Provide input to ensure travelers are updated timely and accurately.
Perform tasks assigned by leader/supervisor/manager within estimated cycle time.
Setup jobs, including tool and geometry offsets per setup sheet and toolist.
Inspect parts to verify blueprint requirements.
Properly transfer CNC programs.
Quickly and accurately load and unload parts from machine.
Run multiple machines when feasible and safe to do so.
Perform all job duties and functions in compliance with all company safety standards.
Supports continuous improvement programs.

- Review blueprints and specification of products
- Calculate dimensions and tolerances using knowledge of mathematics
- Machine parts to specifications using CNC Machine such as turning, milling
- Set up, adjust and operate all of the basic machine tools
- Modify machine speed, tooling and cutting style to ensure precision and accuracy of manufactured parts
- Measure and examine completed products using micrometer, Vernier, calipers
- Perform maintenance on the machines and replace dull or aged parts as necessary
- Supervise machine temperatures, ensure that machine has adequate warm-up and cool-down time between jobs and replace coolant periodically

We are looking for:
Strong mechanical aptitude
Ability to learn to read blueprints and specification drawings
Milling machine operators set up, program and control milling machines, designed to cut excess material from metal workpieces using a computer-controlled rotary-cutting, milling cutter. They read milling machine blueprints and tooling instructions, perform regular machine maintenance, and make adjustments to the milling controls, such as the depth of cuts or the rotation speed.
Reports to Production Supervisor. The job holder is required to produce machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine; performs regular maintenance of machines and adheres to safety standards.
