Resort Manager
The Resort Manager is responsible for overseeing the overall operations and management of a
prestigious 5-star resort. This leadership role requires a seasoned professional with a strong
background in hospitality management, exceptional organizational skills, and a passion for
delivering an outstanding guest experience. Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning and Leadership:
· Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve the resort's goals and objectives. · Provide visionary leadership to the management team, fostering a positive and collaborative work
environment. Financial Management:
· Manage the resort's budget, ensuring financial goals are met and expenses are controlled. · Analyze financial reports and market trends to identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost
savings. Guest Experience:
· Uphold and enhance the resort's reputation for delivering exceptional guest experiences. · Oversee the implementation of high service standards across all departments. Operational Oversight:
· Direct and coordinate the day-to-day operations of all resort departments, including but not
limited to front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, spa, and recreational facilities. · Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. Team Management:
· Recruit, train, and supervise department heads and staff. · Foster a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement. · Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback. Sales and Marketing:
· Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to develop and execute strategies for attracting
and retaining guests. · Explore partnerships and promotional activities to increase the resort's visibility.
Quality Assurance:
· Maintain and enhance the resort's 5-star standards in all aspects, including cleanliness, service
quality, and facilities. · Implement quality assurance programs to consistently meet or exceed guest expectations. Community and Stakeholder Relations:
· Build positive relationships with the local community, suppliers, and other stakeholders. · Represent the resort in a professional manner at industry events and in the local community. Crisis Management:
· Develop and implement crisis management plans to handle emergency situations effectively. · Ensure the safety and well-being of guests and staff in all circumstances. Qualifications and Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus. · Proven experience as a Resort Manager or in a senior leadership role in a luxury resort
environment. · Strong financial acumen and budget management skills. · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. · In-depth knowledge of the hospitality industry and current market trends. · Ability to make strategic decisions and solve problems effectively. · A commitment to delivering outstanding guest experiences.
Job Responsibilities:
• Responsible for general cashier's bank.
• Collects and counts contents of all cashiers' envelopes daily.
• Receives and records in the general cashier's daily report (and includes in the daily deposits) all cash and check received.
• Prepares daily bank deposit summary and do the actual daily bank deposits.
• Counts own funds daily and properly accounts for all disbursement made from there.
• Prepares own daily statement of cash.
• Prepares General Cashier's daily report.
• Prepares Petty Cash Report.
• Provides all outlet cashiers daily change, including extra change for long weekends and special occasion.
• Reimburses outlet cashiers for disbursement made by them.
• Controls and accounts for foreign currencies and update rate on working day from designated source.
• Assisting AP/AR supervisor to perform daily task given in a given time frame.
• Able to work extra hour for complete task given and meeting deadline.
• Perform other tasks and duties as instructed by the management and follow instruction.
• Able to multi task within the given time frame by the department head or management based on the priority of the task / cases.

Responsibilities:-
• Responsible for the overall Mantanani Island and Rampayan maintenance operations which includes, but not limited to maintenance operations and related activities.
• Responsible to respond and attend any defect repair.
• Responsible to perform variety of work in the maintenance and repair of cleaning, repairing, and maintaining.
• Responsible to perform maintenance repairs and services. To do daily technical inspection rounds and checks on the proper functioning of installations.
• Responsible to conduct corrective service and repair / restoration works where and when necessary.
• Responsible to update the maintenance work order.
• Responsible to perform maintenance activities in the pontoon like plunging toilets, unclogging drains, repairing all types of hardware, electrical equipment including lamps, air conditioners / HVAC and AC ducts.
• Responsible to clean, lubricate, protect, and otherwise maintain all tools and equipment.
• Responsible to maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed.
• Responsible to maintain the pontoon facility and related equipment in a safer and efficient manner.
Requirements:-
• At least 3 years(s) working experience in related field.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, appliance repairs, HVAC and carpentry.
• Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia and English.
Responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue targets for the world class resort
Build and maintain strong relationships with travel agents, generating repeat business and responding to sales inquiries, negotiating rates and contract terms and preparing proposals for clients

Responsibilities:-
• Responsible for the day-to day operations within the property maintenance department ensuring plant and equipment operate with the least amount of down time.
• Maintain the Hotel facility, including the physical building structure, all mechanical, electrical, HVAC systems, LV Switchboard, Freezers/ Chillers and related equipment in accordance with energy conversation and preventative maintenance programs.
• Participates in the overall Engineering Management whilst maintaining a “hands on role”.
• Control the Maintenance Request System by assigning works to specific trades, supervises proper completion of assigned works and compiles daily work order statistics.
• Maintain records relating to utility costs throughout the resort
• Perform general, periodic and emergency repairs and maintenance to all plant and equipment.
• Carry out regular inspections of plant and equipment and ensure that inspections required are conducted and documented.
• Carry out general room repairs, preventative maintenance inspections and repairs including scheduling of all these works
• Perform and assist with the Fire Protection Preventative Maintenance Program ensuring all items are inspected as per schedule.
• Review daily logbook, rectify or follow up on all items left unsolved from any previous shifts, discuss the same with the GM.
• Ensure Fire and Engineering safety features operate at peak efficiency.
• Ensure proper records are kept relating to all plant and equipment for the resort.
• Monitor energy and water management systems to minimize wastage and costs using daily / weekly utility readings as a reference point.
• Supervise the daily operation and maintenance of building, electrical and mechanical service, water features, fixtures, furnishings and equipment.
• Maintain all tools and equipment for the running of workshop’s trades and functions.
• Ensure the workshops have adequate stock and materials in Stores and that all workshops are kept in a clean and safe environment.
• Erect and install festive season decorations
Requirements:-
• Candidate must possess at least Diploma or Master in Engineering Management, business administration or equivalent.
• At least 5 years exposure in the related field.
• ISO and IT literate.
