Nam Bee was originally founded in 1938 by the late Tan Kok Cheng and his wife. The word “ Nam Bee” literally translated in Chinese means “south beautiful”. The late Tan Kok Cheng, being from the province of Fujian, China, migrated south to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in 1930 and thought his new home was very beautiful.

Today, Nam Bee Rubber & Tyre Group, managed by the founder’s son Tan Ann Khoon and grandson Tan Chin Han, continues its journey forward.

With its current manufacturing facilities spanning 250,000 sq feet, spread across 10 acres of land in strategic Port Klang, alongside 6 Tyre Service & Distribution Centers located throughout Penins9001ular Malaysia and a combined workforce of over 300 people nationwide, Nam Bee Rubber & Tyre Group is one of Malaysia’s leading and pioneering firms in the rubber and tyre industry.
