Established officially on December 15, 1990, at Sri Muda, Shah Alam, the Shah Alam Buddhist Society (SABS) has flourished over the years. As membership grew, the society expanded its activities, prompting the acquisition of a one-acre land in Bukit Rimau, Shah Alam, from the Selangor State Government in April 2003. Under the leadership of President Dato Vincent Lim, SABS endeavored to construct a Buddhist temple, which was completed on April 22, 2007. Since then, the temple has been a hub for various activities, including Dharma Talks and the Sunday Dharma School.
Embracing the teachings of the Dharma, our mission is to foster spiritual growth, community engagement, and enlightenment through education and compassionate practices.
