The word Okashi (お菓子) basically means "Snack" in Japanese and an alternate reading for Okashi in Hiragana is おかし, so you get the name of the shop "Snack World".

The first Okashi World was opened in January 2015 in Taipan USJ. Currently there are 11 Okashi World stores within Klang Valley, 2 stores in Penang and it is still growing in order to fulfill the needs of the Japanese snack lovers.
