Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree / Master in Human Resource Management, Law, Business Studies or related discipline with minimum 4 years working experience in Manufacturing environment or similar
  • Well versed with Malaysian Employment Act 1955, Industrial Relations Act 1967, Trade Union Act 1959 and current labour law practices
  • Ability to handle Industrial Relations matters relating to employee discipline, Domestic Inquiries and grievances
  • Strong leadership skills, good decision making and business acumen
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Excellent written and oral communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia

Responsibilities

  • Handling Employees' Cases Investigation and conduct investigation
  • Prepare investigation/statement report & recommendation
  • Provide advisory to service area on the best practice to mitigate investigation
  • Experience and well versed in conducting Domestic Inquiry
  • Manage disciplinary issues and grievances to minimize disputes
  • Provide day-to-day counseling and advice on disciplinary action to service area
  • Liaison For Court Matter and also between Company, Solicitors & IR Court for all Company's IR Cases;
  • Mediator/Company Representative for JPP/JTK Negotiations meeting
  • Preparation of Industrial Relations Reports
  • Prepare all Disciplinary Reports in providing solutions/closure for each case
  • Prepare all reports for court cases (internal/external)
  • Attend to all Grievances/ complaints
  • Provide counseling and proactive solutions for employees if necessary
  • Perform other duties as advised by Immediate Superior
