Requirements
- Must possess at least SPM certificate or a Diploma in Business or Marketing.
- A minimum of 3 years working experience in sales, preferably in the automotive parts industry.
- Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin.
- Must be willing to travel frequently to other states.
- Independent, with strong persuasive interpersonal skills and a results-driven approach.
- Exhibits strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Computer literate.
- Target-oriented, with the ability to work under pressure to meet targets.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Aggressive and a fast learner.
- Possesses a good attitude and responsible character.
- Business-minded with entrepreneurial skills.
Responsibilities
- To achieve maximum sales profitability, growth and account penetration within an assigned territory or market segment by effectively selling the company’s products and related services.
- Tasks include –
- To establish, develop and maintain business relationships with current customers and prospective customers to generate new business and maintain sales achievement for the company;
- To submit daily and monthly sales reports to superior regarding sales activities, customer complaints, market feedback and other related matters;
- To plan sales activities and strategies to meet the annual sales target;
- To plan and organise daily work schedule to approach potential customers;
- To provide continuous communication to the customers about new items, order status and other logistic issues;
- To follow up with customers on overdue term collection to reduce bad debts from customers;
- To handle goods returned from customers and provide after sales support as necessary;
- To provide suggestions and recommendations on the improvements of product, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive development;
- To be involved in marketing activities, sales promotions or campaigns and assist in the preparation and organizing of promotional material or events;
- To be involved in the new product development process.
