Requirements
- Holding a degree in accounting/taxation or related field
- Has at least 5 years of relevant tax experience
- Candidate must be highly motivated with a good working attitude and hardworking.
- Must be able to deal and communicate with clients effectively and confidently
- Familiar with accounting software Superior Tax Comp is an advantage
- Planning, organizing, and prioritizing skills that will enable work to be completed and delivered before the due date.
- Technical skills and always in the know on relevant updates on Acts or regulation.
- Ability to manage stress especially on managing deadlines, workload, client expectations and others.
- Able to work under pressure, tight deadline in fast paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Assisting Tax Manager in daily tax duties.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Review income tax preparation, returns and filing.
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations.
- Assist in the planning and execution of tax engagements.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff and provide guidance and training.
- Ensure work is completed accurately and within deadlines.
- Effectively communicate and advice clients, both in writing and verbally.
- Stay updated on industry trends, tax regulations and accounting standards through professional development and ongoing education.
