Full Time Resident Engineer Cybersecurity Risk (GRC) Jobs, in Skill Quotient Federal Territory - Maukerja

Location : Bangsar & Bangi

Payroll : Skill Quotient Group 

Duration: 1 year extendable contract

Experience : 3-8 years

Responsibilities

The Resident Engineer shall be responsible and accountable for, but not limited to, the following:

• Conduct Cyber Security Risk Assessments (CSRA) for new and existing on-premises systems, SaaS applications, and platforms.
• Track CSRA findings through to closure and maintain the relevant risk register/tracker.
• Support CSRA roll-down and socialization across project teams and business units.
• Lead engagements with System Owners and Project Managers to explain the CSRA process, security controls, requirements, and overall expectations.
• Liaise with project teams, vendors, and third parties throughout the risk assessment process.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of CSRA processes, templates, tools, and methodologies.

Basic Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on risk management and compliance.
• Relevant professional certifications such as CRISC, CISSP, CISA, or CEH are an advantage.

Functional / Technical Competencies

• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity risk assessment methodologies and frameworks, such as NIST, ISO 27001, and PDPA.
• Familiarity with on-premises infrastructure and SaaS/cloud security architectures.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify, evaluate, and prioritize security risks.
• Good understanding of security controls, risk treatment, and compliance requirements.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical teams.
