Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field.

Proven ability to prepare and file various tax returns accurately and efficiently.

Experience with tax research and staying updated on relevant tax laws and regulations.

Proficiency in using accounting software and tax preparation tools.

Excellent client communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex tax information clearly.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Fluency in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin is required for effective communication with a diverse client base.

Assist senior tax professionals in preparing and filing various tax returns, including corporate income tax, individual income tax, and sales and service tax, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Malaysian tax laws.

Conduct preliminary tax research on specific tax issues, regulations, and case law under the guidance of tax managers to support advisory services and compliance projects.

Maintain and organize tax documentation, including supporting schedules, invoices, and correspondence, ensuring all records are up-to-date and readily accessible for review and audit purposes.

Utilize accounting software and tax preparation tools to input data, generate reports, and assist in the reconciliation of tax accounts.

Communicate with clients to gather necessary information for tax return preparation, respond to basic queries, and schedule meetings with senior staff.

Support the tax team in various administrative tasks, such as data entry, document scanning, and managing correspondence, to ensure efficient workflow.

Participate in training sessions and professional development activities to enhance knowledge of tax regulations, accounting principles, and industry best practices.
