Job Description

Requirements

  • Minimum SPM or 'O' Level qualification required.

  • 1-2 years of proven experience in a sales or business development role.

  • Demonstrated ability in lead generation and prospecting for new business opportunities.

  • Strong understanding of sales techniques, including negotiation and closing deals.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients.

  • Ability to acquire and maintain in-depth product knowledge of solar energy solutions.

  • Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is essential; Mandarin is a strong advantage.

  • Experience with CRM software is a plus.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a small, dynamic team.

  • Willingness to travel for client meetings as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company sales goals and expand our customer base within the solar energy sector.

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive lead generation, networking, and market research, focusing on both commercial and residential clients.

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients by understanding their needs, providing tailored solutions, and ensuring exceptional customer service throughout the sales cycle.

  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to effectively communicate the value proposition of Nova Solar Energy's products and services, addressing client inquiries and overcoming objections.

  • Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and agreements to close sales deals efficiently and profitably, ensuring alignment with company objectives.

  • Collaborate with the internal team to ensure smooth project execution and customer satisfaction post-sale, providing feedback on market trends and customer needs.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market activities, and competitors' strategies to identify opportunities for growth and product enhancement.

  • Manage and update the CRM system with accurate and timely information on leads, opportunities, and customer interactions to support sales forecasting and reporting.
