Experience: Previous experience in F&B service is considered an advantage

Responsibilities
Guest Welcome & Relationship Management
Greeting & Seating: Welcoming guests with a warm, professional demeanor and escorting them to their tables while managing the seating flow to ensure the kitchen is not overwhelmed.
Menu Ambassadorship: Presenting menus and providing detailed explanations of dishes, including cooking methods, ingredients, and flavor profiles.
Personalized Recommendations: Upselling and suggesting appetizers, beverages, or daily specials that complement the guest’s preferences to enhance their experience and increase sales.
Allergen Coordination: Carefully noting any dietary restrictions or allergies and communicating them clearly to the kitchen team to ensure guest safety.
2. Service Execution & Technical Precision
Order Management: Accurately recording orders and inputting them into the Point of Sale (POS) system, ensuring all modifications or special requests are correctly logged.
Food & Beverage Delivery: Serving dishes and drinks promptly, following established service etiquette (e.g., serving from the left, clearing from the right) and confirming the accuracy of the order with the guest.
Table Maintenance: Performing "pre-busing" by discreetly removing used plates, cutlery, and glassware throughout the meal to maintain a clean and uncluttered dining environment.
Quality Check-Ins: Conducting the "two-bite check" shortly after serving to ensure the food meets the guest’s expectations and addressing any immediate concerns.
3. Operational Efficiency & Sanitation
Table Resetting: Efficiently clearing and sanitizing tables, chairs, and high chairs after guests depart, and resetting the station with clean linens, cutlery, and glassware for the next party.
Side-Work Duties: Completing assigned shift tasks, such as polishing silverware, folding napkins, refilling condiment bottles, and stocking the service station.
Safety & Hygiene: Adhering to all food handling and sanitation regulations, including regular handwashing and ensuring the dining room floor and service areas remain free of hazards.
Opening & Closing Protocols: Assisting with the setup of the dining room before service and performing deep-cleaning tasks at the end of the shift to prepare for the following day.
4. Financial Transactions & Problem Solving
Payment Processing: Presenting accurate bills and processing various forms of payment (cash, credit cards, digital wallets) with high integrity and speed.
Service Recovery: Identifying guest dissatisfaction early and applying basic service recovery techniques (LEAST method) to resolve issues, or escalating to a supervisor when necessary.
Team Coordination: Working closely with the kitchen crew and fellow service staff to ensure a smooth "hand-off" of tasks during busy periods or shift changes.
