Job Description

Requirements

  • Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in key account management, specifically within the e-commerce sector and the Consumer Products/FMCG industry.

  • Strong understanding of Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop, and other e-commerce ecosystems.

  • Proven ability to manage and grow key accounts, demonstrating a track record of achieving sales targets and improving client relationships.

  • Strong understanding of e-commerce sales strategies, market analysis, and business development within the Malaysian market.

  • Excellent negotiation and client relationship management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and internal teams.

  • Proficiency in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin to effectively communicate with a diverse range of clients (international) and stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated experience in business analysis and utilizing data to inform sales strategies and improve e-commerce performance.

  • Experience in team management or leadership roles is a plus, showcasing the ability to guide and motivate a team towards achieving common goals.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow key ecommerce accounts within the Consumer Products/FMCG sector, achieving sales targets and expanding market share.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned brand partners, fostering strong relationships and trust.

  • Develop and implement strategic account plans tailored to each key client, aligning with their business objectives and Sinma Digital Commerce's capabilities.

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key decision-makers at client organizations, serving as their primary point of contact.

  • Conduct thorough market analysis and business analysis to identify opportunities for growth and optimization within each key account's ecommerce operations.

  • Negotiate favorable terms and agreements with key accounts, ensuring profitability and mutually beneficial partnerships.

  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g. finance, supply chain, operations, IT) to ensure seamless execution of account plans and delivery of exceptional service.

  • Generates sales reports, billing reports, analyze sales data, market trends, and customer behavior to identify opportunities for growth.

  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for each account, providing regular reports and insights to clients and internal stakeholders.

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to maximize revenue and profitability across key ecommerce accounts.

  • Lead and manage a team of account executives, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure their success in achieving individual and team goals.
