Job Description
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
2–3years' experience in Light Gauge Steel / cold-formed steel design and detailing.
Strong working knowledge of Light Gauge Steel
Proficiency in structural analysis software
Sound understanding of cold-formed steel behaviour, screwed connections, bracing, and tie-down systems for wind regions (including cyclonic areas if applicable).
Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder coordination skills.
Responsibilities
Design and analyse Light Gauge Steel framing systems for walls, floors, roof trusses, and modular structures.
Prepare structural calculations, drawings, and specifications in
Liaise with Senior Engineer, builders, and fabricators to ensure designs are constructable and value-engineering.
