Requirements

• 2 to 6 years experience in event operations, activation operations, venue operations, technical coordination, esports, gaming, entertainment, retail operations, AV, production, or similar
• Hands-on and comfortable with basic equipment troubleshooting
• Comfortable working around gaming equipment, PCs, consoles, screens, racing simulators, and basic network setups
• Able to coordinate vendors, freelancers, event crew, and internal teams
• Able to stay calm during live operations
• Comfortable with occasional nights, weekends, setup, teardown, or extended hours during event periods
• Strong follow-up discipline
• Clear communication through WhatsApp, calls, and trackers
• Able to work independently after direction is given
• Own transport preferred

We are looking for a hands-on operations person to support event operations, activations, and technical coordination.

This is not an admin-only role. It is for someone who can coordinate people, solve problems, support events, and troubleshoot basic equipment issues.

Role Summary

You will support Cove Circuit’s events, activations, and technical operations.

You will work closely with the COO, Marketing team, Admin team, Retail Operations team, freelancers, vendors, and branch staff.

Your main job is to make sure event operations are ready, technical issues are followed up, vendors are coordinated, and problems are solved before they become event-day disasters.

Key Responsibilities

Event and Activation Operations

• Coordinate Unleashed activations, qualifiers, and event-day operations
• Prepare event run sheets, manpower plans, packing lists, and setup checklists
• Coordinate freelancers, vendors, event runners, and branch support staff
• Support event setup, teardown, and on-ground execution
• Track event risks, pending tasks, and operational blockers
• Ensure event materials, equipment, and manpower are ready before event day
• Follow up until event tasks are properly closed

Technical Coordination

• Provide first-line troubleshooting for racing simulators, PCs, consoles, screens, and basic network issues
• Check and document technical issues from branches and events
• Support technical setup for events and activations
• Coordinate external technical vendors when issues cannot be solved internally
• Escalate serious technical issues clearly to the COO
• Track recurring equipment issues and unresolved technical matters
• Make sure technical issues are followed up until resolved

Cross-Team Coordination

• Work with Marketing to confirm event details, content needs, and activation requirements
• Work with Admin on claims, payments, travel, hotels, and event allowances
• Work with Retail Operations when branch manpower or branch equipment is involved
• Maintain simple trackers for event tasks, technical issues, and vendor follow-up
• Communicate clearly through WhatsApp, calls, and trackers

Working Style and Flexibility

This role is built around live events, gaming venues, and technical operations.

That means the schedule may be different during event periods.

During active events or urgent technical situations, you may need to support:

• evenings
• weekends
• setup and teardown
• vendor coordination
• urgent remote follow-up
• basic troubleshooting

This is not an “always online” role.

We are not looking for someone to work late unnecessarily.

But we are looking for someone dependable, hands-on, and reachable when genuine operational urgency happens.

Event deployment allowance, meal support, travel support, outstation accommodation, and recovery arrangements may apply based on company policy.
