Full Time Structural Engineer (结构工程师) Jobs, in Minconsult Sdn. Bhd. Selangor - Maukerja

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree in Civil/ Structural Engineering recognized by Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM).

• Registered with BEM as a Graduate Engineer.

• Certified Autodesk Revit user.

• Familiar with STAADPRO, TEKLA and/or PROTA.

• Familiar with ETABS, SAFE or SAP 2000.

• Minimum three (3) - five (5) years of relevant experience in consultancy environment.

• Experience in Prestressed Concrete.

• Background in steel structures, construction, and infrastructure.

• Strong presentation and communication skills.

• Able to lead independently.

• Proficiency in Mandarin as an added advantage

• East Malaysians are encouraged to apply.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Handle typical and small to medium sized projects comprising building, infrastructure, and related to structure components.

• Prepare feasibility study and design brief.

• Prepare sketch drawings with sufficient details to enable draftsperson to produce satisfactory detailed drawings as required for tender, construction or other purposes.

• Prepare tender document comprising drawings and specifications.

• Contract administration including review and comment on the contractor’s submission of method statements, materials, equipment, inspection, testing procedures and test results.

• Prepare Progress Payment Certificates if relevant to scope.

• Address variations and resolve contractual disputes with guidance by superior.

• Prepare cost estimates if relevant to scope.

• Attend meetings and coordinate with all other internal and external design team members.

• Liaise with relevant authorities for submission and approval of all drawings and documents.

• Carry out site supervision as necessary to ensure works are installed in accordance with contract documentation and good engineering practice.
