Requirements
Possess at least a Diploma in Food & Beverage Services Management qualification or equivalent.
At least 2 years of working experience in the same capacity.
Proficient in both spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia is a must, ability to communicate in Mandarin is an added advantage.
Have the ability to work in a team
Able to lead and motivate
Good communication and person skills
Possess the commitment to work in a customer service field
Have confidence, self-drive and enthusiastic
Be able to make decisions in a time pressured environment
Be responsible in handling challenging situations
Responsibilities
Principal Accountabilities:
To assist and supervise the operation of restaurant and ensure that service is prompt, professional and courteous, to the standard laid down by the Company.
To ensure that waiters are always correctly and smartly dressed, that they offer professional and courteous service to their customers.
Monitoring the quality, quantity and presentation of food & beverage served to customers.
To ensure that hygiene standards comply with company and statutory requirements.
Able to provide training and motivate employees in maintaining company standards.
Delegating tasks to employees and making sure they are carried out accordingly.
To ensure that all stocks and supplies are timeously requested, correct stock levels maintained and stored under optimum conditions.
STAFFING
Report to Restaurant Manager if any cases of staff grievance.
To report to Restaurant Manager any accident, theft, burglary or fire.
To carry out or ensure that regular On-the-job Training is taking place to agreed standard.
To attend training courses as required, such as HACCP courses (Kursus Pengendali Makanan, Awareness Training Program, Internal Audit Training) and others training courses as required.
HYGIENE / SANITATION / UNIFORMS
To ensure that waiters are always correctly and smartly dressed, that they offer professional and courteous service to their customers.
Ensuring that all staff adhere to the company’s uniform standards.
To ensure that hygiene standards comply with company and statutory requirements.
To be continually aware of, and maintain, the hygiene standards of personal hygiene and dress.
FIRE SAFETY & SECURITY PROCEDURE
To take part in any fire or evacuation drills and ensure complete familiarization with all exits, including those normally used by customers, as well as fire escapes.
OTHERS
Any other responsibilities that assigned by superior.
