You will be involved in designing, developing, and maintaining backend systems and APIs for production applications. The role includes backend development, database design, API integration, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and cloud-based deployments. Our backend systems primarily use Python and Laravel/PHP. Candidates from other backend programming backgrounds are welcome, provided they are willing to learn and work within the team's technology stack and engineering standards. This role is suitable for developers who enjoy backend engineering, problem solving, system design, and building reliable production systems.

• 2+ years of backend development or software engineering experience
• Candidates with strong backend fundamentals and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply
• Experience in backend development using modern backend technologies/frameworks
• Experience building APIs or backend services
• Good understanding of relational databases such as MySQL, MariaDB, or PostgreSQL
• Familiarity with RESTful API concepts
• Familiarity with Git version control
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to learn and work with Python and Laravel/PHP-based backend systems
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
