Job Description

Requirements

  • Possess 1-2 years of proven experience in technical sales, ideally within process analytical and control instrumentation or a related engineering field.

  • Demonstrate strong technical aptitude and ability to understand complex instrumentation and control systems to effectively communicate solutions to clients.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English, Mandarin, and Bahasa Malaysia to engage with a diverse client base and internal teams.

  • Ability to conduct product demonstrations, technical presentations, and provide pre-sales support to prospective customers.

  • Proactive and self-motivated with a strong drive to achieve sales targets and contribute to business growth.

  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel frequently within Malaysia to client sites and for business development.

Responsibilities

  • Assist senior sales engineers in identifying and qualifying new sales opportunities within the assigned territory, focusing on valve & mechanical product.

  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to prospective clients, clearly articulating technical features and benefits relevant to their specific industrial applications.

  • Collaborate with the technical team to prepare accurate and competitive quotations, proposals, and tender documents for instrumentation solutions.

  • Provide initial technical support and consultation to customers, addressing inquiries and guiding them through product selection and application considerations.

  • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients through regular follow-ups and understanding their evolving needs to identify potential upsell or cross-sell opportunities.

  • Participate in industry events, trade shows, and seminars to represent the company and expand professional networks.

  • Prepare and submit regular sales activity reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates to management.

  • Continuously learn and stay updated on the latest industry trends, product developments, and competitor activities in the process analytical and control instrumentation market.
