Job Description

Requirements

  • 5 years+ of experience in finance or accounting role, preferably within the Financial Accounting & Reporting industry

  • Excellent knowledge of financial accounting principles, MFRS and financial reporting requirements

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide insightful financial analysis

  • Proficient in the use of financial software and spreadsheet applications (e.g., Autocount, Excel)

  • An advanced diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field, and a recognised accounting certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA) would be highly desirable

  • Proficiency in Mandarin or Cantonese is essential, as the role may require communication with China vendors or clients

  • Preference will be given to candidates who are available for immediate employment or can join on short notice

Responsibilities

  • Preparing and analysing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements

  • Maintaining general ledger accounts and ensuring the accuracy of all financial records

  • Reconciling bank accounts and managing cash flow effectively

  • Assisting with the preparation of budgets and forecasts

  • Providing financial analysis and recommendations to support business decision-making

  • Supporting the month-end and year-end close process.

  • Perform detailed cost analysis to evaluate project budgets, identify cost variances, and support effective financial planning.

  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate cost allocation and reporting.

  • Prepare routine expenses and cost analyses to drive business efficiency.

  • Responsible for managing daily financial operational tasks, as well as performing ad-hoc duties as required
