Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in merchandising, retail operations, or a related field within the FMCG or snack industry.

Proven experience in visual merchandising, including store layout planning, product placement, and display creation to maximize sales and brand visibility.

Strong understanding of inventory management principles, including stock control, demand forecasting, and minimizing stockouts or overstock situations.

Ability to conduct market research and analyze sales data to identify trends, understand consumer preferences, and inform merchandising strategies.

Experience in product management, including understanding product lifecycles, new product introductions, and promotional activities.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal teams (sales, marketing) and external stakeholders (retail partners).

Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken, to effectively communicate with a diverse customer base and internal teams.

Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced retail environment.

A keen eye for detail and a passion for creating appealing product displays that drive customer engagement and sales.

Familiarity with the Malaysian retail landscape and consumer behavior within the snack category is highly desirable.

Collaborate with the merchandising team to develop and execute product strategies that align with market trends and company objectives.

Analyze sales data and market research to identify opportunities for product assortment optimization and inventory management.

Manage the product lifecycle from concept to launch, including sourcing, pricing, and promotional activities.

Ensure effective visual merchandising standards are maintained across all retail touchpoints to enhance product presentation and drive sales.

Monitor inventory levels, forecast demand, and coordinate with supply chain partners to ensure product availability and minimize stockouts.

Conduct regular store visits and competitor analysis to gather insights on product performance, customer feedback, and emerging trends.

Support the development and implementation of merchandising plans and promotions to achieve sales targets and enhance brand visibility.

Assist in the negotiation and management of supplier relationships to secure favorable terms and ensure product quality.
