Planning and Preparation
- Undertaking background research on the client’s business environment including doing field work and travelling to clients’ office
- Ensure that audit is properly planned, including resource matters
- Approve Audit program
- Identifying key stakeholders for the audit
- Preparation of proposal & monitoring invoice and collection
- Handling appointment and resignation of audit client
- Preparing adequate and appropriate working papers with proper audit procedures
- Undertake any job responsibility as per instructed
Budget and Financial Management
- Approving and monitoring budget of subordinates to ensure audit is conducted within cost restraints

Compliance and Risk Management
- Identifying compliance issues
- Analysing business and financial risks to the clients
- Identifying legislation, regulations, compliance issues and professional standards relating to audits
- Monitoring on-going regulatory development & promoting a culture of process improvement
Monitoring and Evaluation
- Reviewing working papers and reports in line with set objectives, independence, and objectivity for final approval
- Prepare an audit monitoring plan and monitor and evaluate audit against objectives
- Monitoring progress and achievement of KPIs
- Measuring productivity of audit team
- Assessing competency profiles of a practice
- Monitoring staff performance and satisfaction
- Resolving significant audit issues
Team Management and Development
- Analysing training needs for the department
- Establishing a professional service relationship with a client
- Presenting the audit department for new employee orientation session
- Participating in Inter-Department Committee meetings
- Assignment of buddy for new joiner
Reporting and Documentation
- Submission of relevant reports
