#Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Electrical Engineer for a immediate 3-month contract based in Kuantan. In this role, you will provide critical technical and operational support to our engineering team during a key project phase. This is an excellent opportunity to gain intensive, hands-on experience in project execution, testing, and commissioning within a fast-paced environment.

#Key Responsibilities

• Project Support: Assist in the daily engineering operations, site supervision, and coordination of electrical installation works to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
• Technical Documentation: Help prepare, review, and maintain engineering drawings, blueprints, technical specifications, and operation manuals (O&M).
• Testing & Commissioning: Assist senior engineers in conducting testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning of electrical systems and equipment.
• Site Coordination: Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and client representatives on site to facilitate smooth workflow and resolve minor technical issues.
• Progress Reporting: Maintain accurate records of site progress and prepare reports for the management team.

# Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience: 1–2 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering or site supervision is preferred.
• Technical Skills: * Basic proficiency in AutoCAD or similar engineering design software.
• Familiarity with electrical systems, wiring, low voltage (LV) distribution, and Malaysian electrical standards (ST regulations).
• Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative team mindset.
• Availability: Must be able to start immediately or on short notice and commit fully to the 3-month contract duration.
• Locality: Candidates currently residing in or near Kuantan, or willing to relocate immediately without assistance, are highly preferred.
