We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor (QS) to manage all costs relating to construction projects, from the initial calculations to the final figures. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to ensure projects are completed within budget and on schedule.
Job Description
- Reviewing construction plans and preparing quantity requirements.
- Scrutinizing maintenance and material costs, as well as contracts to ensure the best deals.
- Liaising with site managers, clients, contractors, and subcontractors.
- Preparing reports, analyses, contracts, budgets, risk assessment, and other documents.
- Advising managers and clients on improvements and new strategies.
- Keeping track of materials and ordering more when required.
- Documenting any changes in design and updating budgets.
- Establishing and maintaining professional relationships with external and internal stakeholders.
- Traveling from the office to various sites as required
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of relevant working experience (construction industry preferred).
- Strong knowledge in tendering, contract management, and construction cost control.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, AutoCAD, and QS-related software.
- Good analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently as well as in a team.
