Requirements
1. Qualifications & Licenses
Valid Malaysian Driver’s License
Valid Goods Driving License (GDL) (suitable for commercial vans/trucks) with a minimum of 3 years’ driving experience
Minimum qualification: Secondary / High School
2. Experience & Skills
Minimum 3 years of relevant driving experience, preferably in food delivery or logistics
Familiarity with food safety, cold chain standards, and basic vehicle maintenance
Good time management, communication, and organizational skills
Able to speak and read English
3. Physical & Work Requirements
Malaysian candidate, able to handle and carry heavy loads (up to 50kg), including non-halal / pork food products
Clean driving record
Willing to travel within Klang Valley and outstation when required
Willing to work 6 days per week, including overtime, weekends, and selected public holidays
Possess own transport to commute to work
Responsibilities
1. Daily Delivery Operations
Deliver goods from the production kitchen/bakery to multiple restaurant outlets and/or between outlets.
Pack stocks (chilled, frozen, and perishable food items) accurately according to purchase orders.
Safely load and unload goods using proper handling techniques to prevent damage.
Verify delivery orders and stock against invoices or delivery notes.
Ensure goods are stored correctly in the vehicle and maintain product integrity.
Ensure timely and safe deliveries according to assigned schedules.
2. Staff Transportation
Drive workers to and from outlets as required, following assigned schedules.
3. Purchasing & Errands
Run errands to purchase or collect stocks from suppliers or external vendors as instructed.
4. Communication & Coordination
Coordinate closely with the production team, purchasing team, and restaurant persons-in-charge.
Inform relevant parties promptly of any delays, delivery issues, or stock shortages.
5. Vehicle Upkeep & Routine Maintenance
a. Temperature Control
Maintain correct temperature settings in the chiller/van to ensure food quality and safety.
Monitor and record temperatures during loading, transit, and unloading.
b. Vehicle Maintenance
Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, including chiller system checks.
Keep the vehicle clean, well-maintained, and roadworthy at all times.
Report any mechanical issues, damages, or incidents immediately to the relevant personnel.
c. Documentation & Compliance
Arrange for mandatory inspections with PUSPAKOM, JPJ, and other relevant authorities.
Comply with all traffic, transportation, and food safety regulations.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, temperature logs, fuel usage, and vehicle checklists.
Follow food safety and hygiene standards, including HACCP requirements where applicable.
Comply with loading bay regulations at delivery locations, including proper vehicle positioning, waiting procedures, and safety protocols.
6. Other Duties
Assist with light warehouse or production kitchen tasks during non-delivery hours.
Support other delivery needs or errands as assigned by management.
