Requirements
- Proven experience as a Wireman or in a similar electrical role.
- Solid understanding of electrical systems, wiring, and safety procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and blueprints.
- Familiarity with electrical testing equipment and tools.
- Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
- Physical stamina and ability to work in various environments, including heights and confined spaces.
- Relevant certifications or vocational training in electrical work are a plus.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in buildings and structures.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine wiring layouts.
- Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, outlets, and other components.
- Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits using testing devices.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical malfunctions and breakdowns.
- Ensure all work complies with national and local electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems to avoid future issues.
