• Count and record PK (Palm Kernel) stock.

• Manage the utilization and rotation of PK silos according to the 'FIFO' (First-In, First-Out) system.

• Organize the emptying and cleaning of silos.

• Organize and supervise plant operations, cleanliness, and safety at all times.

• Ensure the number of operating expeller machines during On-Peak and Off-Peak hours aligns with the monthly process planning.

• Immediately report to the Head of Maintenance if any expeller machine is inefficient (e.g., oil loss exceeding specifications or low throughput).

• Ensure VM (Volatile Matter) of PKE (Palm Kernel Expeller) meets specifications.

• Take immediate action on matters affecting quality control and yield loss by referencing reports from the quality control department.

• Carry out operational maintenance work according to the schedule.

• Perform operational maintenance during plant shutdowns caused by power disruptions, lack of PK supply, etc.

• Record and report daily process performance and machine breakdowns.

• Control operational costs.

• Ensure compliance with ISO, MSPO, GMP+FSA, RSPO, MPOB Code of Practice, Environmental Act, Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994 (OSHA), Employment Act, and other relevant acts.

Education & Experience

• Academic Background: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Chemical), Agricultural Science, Palm Oil Mill Technology, or a related field.

• Experience:Minimum of 2–5 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing or processing plants, specifically withinPalm Kernel Crushing Plants (CP) or Palm Oil Mills.

Technical Skills & Knowledge

• Inventory & Silo Management:Proven experience in stock management and silo operations using theFIFO system.

• Machinery & Process Knowledge:Strong familiarity with the operations and maintenance ofexpeller/pressing machines, including monitoring throughput, oil loss, and volatile matter (VM) specifications.

• Compliance & Certifications: Comprehensive knowledge of industry standards and regulations, including:

  • Sustainability & Quality: MSPO, RSPO, GMP+FSA, ISO, and MPOB Codes of Practice.

  • Legal & Safety: Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994 (OSHA/AKKP), Environmental Quality Act, and Malaysian Employment/Labour Acts.

Soft Skills & Core Competencies

• Leadership & Supervision: Ability to manage shift workers, enforce strict plant cleanliness, and maintain a safety-first culture.

• Problem-Solving & Urgency: Quick decision-making skills to address operational downtime, machine inefficiencies, or quality control deviations immediately.

• Analytical Reporting: Competent in tracking data, maintaining daily logs, and analyzing process performance to optimize operational costs.
