Responsibilities

Operations & Maintenance

• Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance of:

• Low-voltage (≤1000V) distribution panels, DBs, control systems

• Electrical motors, pumps, lighting circuits

• Monitor and manage electrical loads and energy usage on-site

• Perform minor electrical installations and modifications where authorized

Troubleshooting & Repairs

• Diagnose faults in LV electrical systems and carry out timely repairs

• Maintain accurate records of faults, repairs, and part replacements

Compliance & Safety

• Ensure all work complies with:

• Suruhanjaya Tenaga licensing requirements (A1-level scope)

• Enforce lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures and electrical safety standards

• Report hazards and incidents in a timely and proper manner

Audit & Documentation

• Maintain up-to-date electrical maintenance logs, test records

• Support energy audits, insurance inspections, and licensing renewals

• Liaise with external contractors for inspections and major upgrades

Requirements

Qualifications

• Valid Chargeman A1 certificate issued by Suruhanjaya Tenaga

• SPM/SPVM or equivalent with credit in Science/Math subjects

Experience

• Minimum 2 years working experience in LV electrical maintenance (preferably in manufacturing, or facility management)

Skills

• Able to read electrical diagrams and troubleshoot LV systems

• Hands-on experience with electrical tools, testing equipment

• Knowledge of local electrical codes, Energy Commission regulations, and ESH practices

Other Requirements

• Physically fit and willing to work in a farm environment

• Available for on-call duty and emergency response

• Strong attention to detail and safety mindset

• Conduct routine electrical inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults in a timely manner, implementing effective solutions to restore equipment functionality.

• Perform electrical repairs and installations in compliance with safety regulations and industry best practices.

• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including inspections, repairs, and modifications.

• Collaborate with other maintenance team members to coordinate maintenance schedules and ensure efficient resource allocation.

• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and company policies related to electrical work.

• Assist in the development and implementation of preventive maintenance programs to improve equipment reliability.

• Respond promptly to electrical emergencies and provide effective solutions to minimize disruptions.
