Job Description

Responsibilities

Role Overview:

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end execution of projects and operational activities across Kee Safety Malaysia and SEA Region. This includes project delivery, resource planning, installation management, logistics, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

The role plays a critical part in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest safety standards, while supporting business growth and regional expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project & Installation Management

  • Oversee planning, scheduling, and execution of all projects and installations.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with technical specifications.
  • Monitor site progress and resolve operational issues proactively.
  • Manage project team efficiently and effectively.
  • Manage Design team efficiently

2. Resource Planning & Workforce Management

  • Enforce strict compliance with safety standards and company policies.
  • Ensure all site activities adhere to local regulations and international safety standards.
  • Lead safety initiatives, audits, and continuous improvement efforts.2

3. Cost & Performance Management

  • Monitor project operational costs and support cost control initiatives.
  • Track project performance, productivity, and efficiency.
  • Identify opportunities to improve margins through better execution.

4. Vendor & Subcontractor Management

  • Manage subcontractor’s performance, quality, and timelines.
  • Evaluate and onboard new suppliers and installation partners.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual and safety requirements.

5. Reporting & Continuous Improvement

  • Prepare regular operational reports (progress, risks, resource utilisation)
  • Identify operational risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Drive process improvements, standardisation, and best practice.

6. Reporting

  • Prepare regular commercial reports (weekly/monthly).
  • Provide updates on project financial status, risks, and opportunities.
  • Support management with forecasting and strategic planning inputs

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (must)
  • Minimum 7–10 years in project management, or construction / engineering environment.
  • Proven experience managing site operations, installations, or industrial projects.
  • Experience in safety systems, steel structures, or access solutions is a strong advantage.

Skills

  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.

  • Good understanding of safety regulations and compliance standards.
  • Commercial awareness with ability to manage cost and efficiency.
