Possess a valid Food Handling Certificate and Typhoid Vaccination.

Basic culinary qualification and previous experience in F&B and kitchen operations is an added advantage.

Strong interest in food preparation and professional cooking.

Good teamwork, communication, and time management skills.

Able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle tasks efficiently.

Responsible, disciplined, and willing to learn.

Able to follow instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Always maintain good personal hygiene and cleanliness.

Willing to work on shifts, weekends, and public holidays if required.

Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods.

Assist in the daily preparation of ingredients including washing, cutting, marinating, and portioning.

Responsible for supporting a designated kitchen section in the preparation and execution of specific menu items to the required standards.

Prepare and cook dishes according to established recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines.

Assist senior chefs during service periods.

Ensure consistency in food quality, taste, and presentation.

Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workstation at all times.

Comply with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.

Assist with stock handling, proper storage, and minimising food wastage.

Participate in mise en place, opening, and closing kitchen duties as assigned.
