Kelayakan

1. Professional Experience

Minimum 5 years of experience in operations, management, or business operations roles

Proven experience in leading and managing teams (minimum 5–10 staff)

Background in F&B, Frozen Food, Trading, Distribution, Retail, Warehouse, or Supply Chain is a strong advantage

Experience in building or restructuring operational processes is highly preferred

Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and manage teams independently

Capable of setting clear expectations, assigning responsibilities, and holding team members accountable

Comfortable handling underperformance, discipline, and difficult conversations

Able to build a structured team environment with clear roles, reporting lines, and SOPs

Leadership style that balances firmness, fairness, and results

3. Operations & Execution Excellence

Strong understanding of end-to-end operations: people, workflow, inventory, timelines, and problem-solving

Ability to identify operational bottlenecks and implement practical improvements

Hands-on mindset with the ability to execute, not just plan

Strong cost awareness and ability to improve efficiency without compromising quality

Able to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-moving environment

4. Strategic Thinking & Ownership

Thinks beyond daily tasks and understands how operations impact profitability and business growth

Able to translate business goals into operational plans and team actions

Demonstrates a strong sense of ownership and accountability for results

Comfortable making decisions within defined authority without constant supervision

5. Data, Reporting & Systems

Able to read, analyze, and act on basic operational data (costs, productivity, inventory, KPIs)

Capable of preparing clear and structured reports for management

Proficient in Excel / Google Sheets and familiar with basic operational systems

6. Communication & Cross-Department Coordination

Strong communication skills with the ability to align management, peers, and subordinates

Able to work closely with Sales, Warehouse, Admin, and other departments

Calm and solution-oriented when dealing with operational pressure or unexpected issues

Able to communicate clearly in both structured meetings and daily operations

8. Language & Other Requirements

Proficient in English; ability to communicate in Mandarin and/or Bahasa Malaysia is an advantage

  1. Overall Operations Management

Oversee and manage the daily operations of the department to ensure smooth, efficient, and timely execution

Take full responsibility for people, processes, and operational performance

Ensure operations align with company objectives, standards, and policies

2. Team Leadership & Management

Lead, supervise, and develop the operations team

Assign tasks, set priorities, and monitor team performance

Conduct regular team meetings to align goals and expectations

Handle staff performance issues, discipline, and corrective actions when necessary

Identify manpower needs and recommend hiring, restructuring, or role changes to management

3. Process & SOP Development

Review existing workflows and identify gaps or inefficiencies

Develop, implement, and improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

Ensure all team members follow established processes consistently

Continuously improve operational efficiency, accuracy, and productivity

4. Operational Planning & Execution

Translate business goals into clear operational plans and action steps

Set operational targets and timelines for the team

Ensure tasks and projects are completed according to plan

Anticipate operational risks and proactively implement solutions

5. Cost Control & Efficiency

Monitor operational costs and identify opportunities to reduce waste

Ensure efficient use of manpower, resources, and time

Balance cost control with service quality and operational effectiveness

Support management in improving overall profitability through better operations

6. Inventory, Workflow & Coordination

Work closely with Warehouse, Sales, and Admin teams to ensure smooth coordination

Ensure proper handling of inventory, documentation, and internal processes

Resolve cross-department operational issues and bottlenecks

Act as the key coordination point between departments

7. Reporting & Performance Monitoring

Prepare and submit regular operational reports to management

Track key operational metrics and KPIs

Highlight issues, risks, and improvement recommendations clearly and honestly

Ensure transparency in operational performance and progress

8. Decision-Making & Problem Solving

Make day-to-day operational decisions within assigned authority

Handle operational emergencies and unexpected issues calmly and effectively

Escalate critical matters to management with clear analysis and proposed solutions

Take ownership of outcomes and results

9. Continuous Improvement & Growth

Identify opportunities to improve systems, tools, and team capabilities

Support the company’s growth by scaling operations effectively

Train and mentor team members to build long-term operational strength

Prepare the department for future expansion
