Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred, though a Diploma with relevant experience will be considered.
Proven ability to learn and articulate technical product information and benefits to potential clients in the latex and rubber industries.
Demonstrated interest in pursuing a career in industrial sales, with a proactive and results-oriented approach.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish long-term relationships with customers.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to understand customer needs and propose effective chemical dispersion solutions.
Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is essential; knowledge of Mandarin is a significant advantage.
Willingness to travel within Malaysia to meet clients and understand their operational requirements.
Familiarity with sales management principles and techniques, including lead generation, pipeline management, and closing deals.
Ability to conduct market analysis to identify new opportunities and competitive trends within the chemical dispersion sector.
Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced manufacturing environment and contributing to a growing team.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives and expand market share within the latex and rubber industries.
Identify and prospect new clients, building strong relationships and understanding their specific chemical dispersion needs.
Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations to showcase the benefits and applications of our chemical dispersion solutions.
Collaborate with the R&D and production teams to ensure product quality and timely delivery, addressing any technical challenges or customer inquiries.
Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify new opportunities and refine sales strategies.
Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and service level agreements to secure profitable business deals.
Manage and maintain a robust sales pipeline, accurately forecasting sales revenue and performance metrics.
Provide exceptional after-sales support and foster long-term partnerships with existing clients to ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction.
Stay abreast of the latest advancements in chemical dispersion technology and its applications within the latex industry.
Prepare and present regular sales reports to senior management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and future outlook.
