High school diploma or equivalent (SPM/'O' Level) is required for this entry-level position.
Excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills are essential for interacting with patients and colleagues.

Basic understanding of infection control procedures within a dental setting is preferred.
Computer literacy, including familiarity with standard office software, is required.
Ability to speak and write fluently in both English and Bahasa Malaysia is mandatory.
A positive attitude and willingness to learn are crucial for success in this role.
Ability to work effectively as part of the team in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to undergo training in dental assisting procedures is a plus.
Responsibilities
Greet and welcome patients warmly upon arrival, manage check-in and check-out procedures efficiently, and ensure a positive first impression of the dental clinic.
Schedule patient appointments accurately using the clinic's management system, manage cancellations and rescheduling, and send appointment reminders to minimize no-shows.
Answer phone calls professionally, address patient inquiries, provide basic information about services, and direct calls to the appropriate personnel.
Maintain patient records with accuracy and confidentiality, including updating personal information, treatment histories, and insurance details.
Assist dental staff with basic chairside duties as needed, such as preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing instruments, and handing instruments to the dentist.
Manage inventory of dental supplies, place orders when necessary, and ensure the reception area and treatment rooms are clean, organized, and well-stocked.
Handle patient billing and payment processing, including explaining charges, accepting payments, and issuing receipts.
Adhere to strict infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff, following all established guidelines.
