Job Description

Requirements

  • Minimum of a Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • 1-2 years of proven experience in an Account Executive or similar client-facing sales role, preferably within the Accounting/Tax Services industry.

  • Demonstrated success in account management, including building and maintaining strong client relationships, identifying client needs, and upselling services.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills in English, Mandarin, and Bahasa Malaysia to effectively engage with a diverse client base.

  • Ability to understand and articulate the value proposition of accounting and tax services to potential clients.

  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools to manage leads, track progress, and report on sales activities.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple accounts and meet sales targets within a dynamic environment.

  • Willingness to work onsite in Kota Kemuning, Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain accurate financial records and ledgers for the company, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations.

  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to provide insights into the company's financial performance.

  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely payments to vendors and collection of outstanding invoices.

  • Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.

  • Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts to identify and resolve discrepancies.

  • Support the accounting team in month-end and year-end closing processes.

  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors during financial audits.

  • Maintain and update accounting databases and systems.

  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.

  • Provide support for ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as required by management.
