Job Summary

Responsible for the safe and timely transportation of goods, equipment, materials, and company staff to designated locations while ensuring vehicle safety, proper maintenance, compliance with road regulations, and adherence to company transportation procedures.

Key ResponsibilitiesTransportation & Delivery

• Safely transport company goods, products, materials, equipment, and supplies to designated locations.
• Transport company employees, visitors, contractors, and authorised personnel as assigned.
• Ensure all transportation activities are carried out efficiently and according to approved schedules.
• Load and unload goods, equipment, and materials safely to prevent damage or loss.
• Verify delivery orders, goods received notes, and other transportation documents before and after each trip.
• Obtain necessary acknowledgements, signatures, and supporting documents upon delivery or collection.

Staff Transportation

• Transport employees between company premises, project sites, accommodations, government agencies, clinics, airports, bus terminals, and other approved destinations.
• Ensure the safety, comfort, and well-being of passengers during transportation.
• Maintain professional conduct and confidentiality when transporting management personnel, employees, and visitors.
• Assist employees with loading and unloading personal or work-related items when necessary.

Vehicle Maintenance & Safety

• Conduct daily vehicle inspections before and after use, including checks on tyres, brakes, lights, engine oil, coolant, and fuel levels.
• Ensure assigned vehicles are clean, roadworthy, and properly maintained at all times.
• Report any vehicle defects, breakdowns, accidents, or maintenance requirements immediately.
• Monitor vehicle servicing schedules and coordinate maintenance activities as required.
• Ensure compliance with all road transport laws, traffic regulations, and company driving policies.

Documentation & Record Keeping

• Maintain accurate records of vehicle usage, mileage, fuel consumption, trips, and maintenance activities.
• Complete and submit transportation logs, vehicle inspection checklists, and delivery documentation promptly.
• Safeguard all company assets, equipment, goods, and documents during transportation.

Operational Support

• Assist with stock movement, warehouse activities, and inventory handling when required.
• Support operational departments by transporting tools, machinery, spare parts, and equipment between locations.
• Assist in company events, operational activities, and emergency transportation arrangements when necessary.
• Perform basic vehicle cleaning and housekeeping duties.

Compliance & Safety

• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements.
• Ensure all passengers comply with vehicle safety requirements, including the use of seat belts.
• Practice defensive driving and maintain a safe driving record.
• Immediately report accidents, incidents, traffic summonses, or safety concerns to Management.

Other Duties

• Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by Management from time to time.

RequirementsEducation

• Minimum SPM or equivalent.

Experience

• Minimum 1 year of driving experience in a similar role.
• Experience in logistics, transportation, plantation, manufacturing, hospitality, or operational support environments will be an added advantage.

License Requirements

• Valid Malaysian Driving Licence (Class D).
• Possession of a Goods Driving Licence (GDL) will be an added advantage.
• Clean driving record with no serious traffic offences.

• Good knowledge of road routes and navigation.
• Responsible, trustworthy, and punctual.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Physically fit and capable of handling loading and unloading activities.
• Flexible to work overtime, weekends, public holidays, and travel outstation when required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,300.00 per month
