Job Descriptions

• 1) Electrical System Management
• Operate and maintain 33kV electrical distribution systems, substations, transformers, switchgears, and protection systems.

2) Facility & Utility Engineering

• Support operation and optimization of facility utility systems, including:
• HVAC and cleanroom systems
• Chiller and cooling tower systems
• Boiler and hot water systems
• Air compressor and gas systems
• Water treatment systems (WWTP / DI / RO)

3) Maintenance & Reliability

• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for equipment failures and utility interruptions.
• Develop and improve preventive maintenance programs.
• Support predictive maintenance and reliability improvement initiatives.
• Participate in troubleshooting and emergency response activities.

4) Energy & Project Management

• Monitor and analyze utility consumption (electricity, water, gas).
• Identify and implement energy-saving initiatives.
• Support facility upgrading, expansion, and improvement projects.
• Coordinate project timelines, contractors, and technical documentation.

5) Compliance & Reporting

• Ensure compliance with ST, DOSH, DOE, and company safety requirements.
• Prepare technical reports, SOPs, maintenance records, and improvement reports.
• Support audits, inspections, and statutory requirements.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Facilities Engineering, or related field.
• Possess a valid 33kV Chargeman Certificate issued by Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST).
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in high-voltage electrical systems, manufacturing facilities, or utility maintenance.
• Able to read and interpret single-line diagrams and electrical schematics.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Able to support standby duties, shutdown activities, and emergency breakdown response when required.
