JOB OVERVIEW
The Service Crew/Café Crew is responsible for delivering excellent customer service, ensuring smooth café operations, and maintaining cleanliness and efficiency in a modern Nasi Lemak fast-paced café. This role plays a key part in creating a welcoming dining experience, supporting kitchen operations, and upholding hygiene and service standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Customer Service & Front-of-House
- Greet customers warmly and assist with menu recommendations.
- Take orders accurately (manual/QR ordering system depending on outlet).
- Serve food and beverages efficiently and promptly.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and handle basic customer feedback professionally.
- Maintain dining area cleanliness, table turnover, and overall café ambiance.
Operational Support
- Assist in basic food preparation, plating, garnishing when required.
- Support kitchen team during peak periods.
- Manage takeaway and delivery orders (GrabFood/FoodPanda/etc.).
- Refill condiments, cutlery, and dining essentials.
Cashiering & POS
- Operate POS/QR payment systems.
- Handle cash and digital payments accurately.
- Ensure proper end-of-day cash balancing.
Hygiene & Safety
- Ensure adherence to food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards.
- Maintain proper sanitation of dining area, service counter, and equipment.
- Follow SOPs for handling food, waste segregation, and stock rotation (FIFO).
Teamwork & Communication
- Work closely with outlet team to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen, barista, and management teams.
- Support new crew training when required.
Other Duties
- Participate in stock counting, receiving goods, and basic inventory tasks.
- Assist in café events, promotions, and seasonal menu launches.
- Perform any other duties assigned by Outlet Supervisor/Manager.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
- Minimum SPM or equivalent.
- Experience in F&B or café environment is an added advantage.
- Fresh graduates or first-job seekers are encouraged to apply.
Physical Requirements
- Able to stand long hours.
- Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to work shift hours, weekends, and public holidays.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM1,800.00 per month
