Job Description

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely and accurate recording of suppliers’ invoices in the accounting system.
  • Prepare and submit of standard e-invoices including issuance of consolidated e-Invoices and self-billed e-Invoices, in compliance with regulatory requirement.
  • Prepare and upload import templates and master file transactions into the accounting system.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Record and reconcile intercompany balances.
  • Update and maintain the Fixed Assets Register.
  • Preparation of journals (e.g., depreciation, accruals, bank interest) for month end closing.
  • Prepare tax schedules.
  • Assist in preparing audit schedules and supporting documents during audit periods.
  • Process SST submission, if applicable.
  • Prepare full set of accounts for dormant companies.
  • Assist in preparing management reports as required.
  • Coordinate with the operations team on finance-related matters.
  • Perform ad hoc duties and assignments as required by the superior.

Job Related Experience & Knowledge:

  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
  • Related working experience in accounting is an added advantage.

Education:

  • Diploma, LCCI, or Certificate in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Competencies (Core/ Intellectual/ Interpersonal) :

  • Good interpersonal/communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently, result-oriented & self-motivated.
  • Ability to understand and follow specific instructions and procedures.
  • Word processing and/or data entry skills.
  • Organizing and coordinating skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to perform tasks with accuracy and efficiency in mind.
  • Strong team player.
  • Time-management skills.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
