Responsibilities
Role Overview:
We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking an Attorney to work on a part-time, contractor basis. This role will involve providing senior-level legal review and final validation of site control, interconnection, and permitting-related documentation for energy infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with PJM generator interconnection procedures and FERC-regulated processes. As an Attorney in this role, you will have the opportunity to apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems in the energy industry, shaping how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide senior-level legal review and final validation of site control, interconnection, and permitting-related documentation for energy infrastructure projects to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Assess whether project materials align with PJM generator interconnection procedures, queue-readiness expectations, site control requirements, and applicable FERC-regulated processes.
• Review escalated issues related to site control, interconnection, and permitting, and provide guidance on resolution and mitigation strategies.
• Develop and maintain a deep understanding of PJM interconnection compliance, FERC regulations, energy permitting, and site control review to provide expert-level guidance and support.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that energy infrastructure projects are developed and implemented in compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Strong knowledge of PJM interconnection compliance, FERC regulations, energy permitting, and site control review, with a focus on generator interconnection and energy infrastructure projects.
• Experience in providing senior-level legal review and final validation of complex documentation, with a strong attention to detail and ability to identify and mitigate risks.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex issues and develop effective solutions.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and provide expert-level guidance and support.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, with a strong focus on quality and attention to detail.
