Requirements

Qualification & Working Experience

  • Degree in Law, International Relation, Business, Finance, Economics, Commerce, Statistics, Mathematics, Science, Operational Research with minimum of 3 years in airline related field OR

  • Diploma in Business, Finance, Economics, Commerce, Statistics, Mathematics, Science, Operational Research with minimum of 5 years of airline experience preferably in commercial network & Operations.

  • Having knowledge in Aviation Regulations is an added advantage

  • At least 7 years of relevant working experience

  • Highly analytical, meticulous, problem solving, persistent (tough negotiator) and IT proficient.

  • Multi tasking.

  • Deep knowledge in scheduling ground rules, operational constraints, aircraft performance, market share & traffic performance.

  • Competency in report writing & presentation.

Responsibilities

  • To coordinate, submit, and secure timely all the landing permits, overflight permits, and regulatory approvals for scheduled, charter, cargo, ferry, ad hoc, and special flight operations for Malaysia Airlines, Firefly, MASKargo, and AMAL in accordance with operational and regulatory timelines.

  • To assist and support FAOC applications for renewals, amendments, and variation approvals for new destinations, routes, aircraft types, and operational, changes, ensuring continuous operational eligibility in all applicable countries.

  • To monitor and ensure all the flight approvals, permits, clearances, and regulatory requirements are obtained in a timely manner and remain valid prior to flight operations, including the tracking approval validity, expiry dates, permit conditions, and operational restrictions imposed by the authorities. Proactively following up with authorities, agents and station heads to prevent operational delays and disruptions that could impact flight schedules and commercial commitments.

  • To ensure all required operational, technical, safety, security, insurance, and corporate documents are complete, accurate, and submitted within required timelines for regulatory approvals and flight operations, while maintaining up-to-date filing, record retention, and audit preparedness for all approvals, permits, correspondence, and submissions in accordance with company policies and authority requirements

  • To ensure OCC/FDC and relevant operational stakeholders are regularly updated on the status of all flight approvals, clearances, and permits not later than 72 hours prior to STD or within operationally required timelines. Also to support operational recovery, urgent RA matters, and specialized or non-regular operations through the initiation of expedited permit applications and regulatory clearances as and when required.

  • To maintain up-to-date and monitor all regulatory documentation, records within relevant systems including CAAT, DJU, and other internal or external regulatory platforms, ensuring current, accurate records and audit ready at all times.
