Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

Possess strong analytical and numerical skills with a keen eye for detail, essential for accurate cost estimation and quantity take-off.

Demonstrate a foundational understanding of construction processes, materials, and methods.

Familiarity with contract administration and the ability to assist in tender preparation and evaluation.

Ability to learn and apply principles of cost control and budget management throughout the project lifecycle.

Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia, with Mandarin proficiency being a significant advantage.

Proficiency in using standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite) and an eagerness to learn specialized construction software.

Assist senior quantity surveyors in preparing cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.

Perform quantity take-offs from architectural and engineering drawings to determine material and labor requirements.

Support the monitoring and control of project costs, identifying potential variances and recommending corrective actions.

Assist in the preparation of tender documents, including bills of quantities and specifications.

Help in the valuation of work in progress and the preparation of interim payment applications.

Contribute to the identification and management of project risks related to cost and contracts.

Maintain accurate records of project costs, variations, and contractual correspondence.

Participate in site visits to assess progress and verify quantities of work executed.

Assist in the preparation of final accounts and the settlement of contractual claims.

Learn and apply principles of value engineering to optimize project costs without compromising quality.
