The Junior IT (Cloud Engineer) supports the design, deployment, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure and services across platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Working under the guidance of senior engineer, this entry-level role assists in ensuring high availability, scalability, and cost-effectiveness of cloud workloads. The Junior Cloud Engineer collaborates with development, DevOps, and security teams to support CI/CD pipelines, automation tasks, and cloud governance activities aligned with Malaysian business and compliance requirements.

•      Assist in the design, implementation, and management of cloud architectures (IaaS, PaaS, container services, serverless) under senior engineer supervision.

•      Monitor system performance, security, and availability using cloud-native monitoring tools and escalate issues as needed.

•      Support management of cloud networking components (VPC/VNet, subnets, firewalls, load balancers).

•      Assist in cloud cost monitoring and help identify rightsizing opportunities based on usage patterns.

•      Troubleshoot basic cloud infrastructure issues and provide timely resolutions with guidance from senior team members.

•      Support implementation of backup, disaster recovery, and high availability strategies.

•      Help ensure cloud environments comply with corporate and Malaysian regulatory standards (e.g., PDPA, industry security guidelines).
