Senior Quantity Surveyor
We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to manage cost planning, contract administration, and project financial control for construction projects. The successful candidate will ensure projects are delivered within budget while maintaining quality and compliance with contractual requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents.
- Evaluate contractor and supplier quotations.
- Administer contracts, variations, and claims.
- Monitor project costs, cash flow, and financial performance.
- Prepare progress claims and payment certificates.
- Conduct site measurements and valuation of work done.
- Negotiate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare cost reports and project financial forecasts.
- Support project teams in cost control and risk management.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, costing, and procurement.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and quantity surveying software.
- Good analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
